We are a political action committee organized under the rules of State of Connecticut for the purpose of assuring the citizens of the Town of Groton that their Government is operated in the most ethically and fiscally responsible manner. Our current initiatives are focused on efforts to bring property taxation under control. We made strong arguments for a gradual phase-in of assessments after the last revaluation, A three year phase-in plan was introduced and resulted in substantial savings for residential taxpayers. In addition to addressing inefficiencies in Government, our activities include candidate endorsements, in depth budget reviews, proactive consulting services when requested, sourcing volunteers to serve on committees and other needs of the Town's political bodies. We look for local government which is fiscally conservative, socially responsible and represents Good Government, regardless of party affiliation.
